Properties of Relationships Among Objects in Object-Oriented Software Design

Abstract: One of the modern paradigms to develop a system is object oriented analysis and design. In this paradigm, there are several objects and each object plays some specific roles. After identifying objects, the various relationships among objects must be identified. This paper makes a literature review over relationships among objects. Mainly, the relationships are three basic types, including generalization/specialization, aggregation and association. This paper presents five taxonomies for properties of the relati… Show more

“…2) takes into account the peculiarities of the aggregation relation-ship between software classes. A peculiarity of the queue, in contrast to known solutions [4,[7][8][9], is the use of the model of the resource class and customer classes. This makes it possible to manage the provision of services to client classes in the absence of conflicts.…”

“…Work [4] deals with the issue of identification and analysis of the effectiveness of class attributes. However, the research is only concerned with attributes whose selection is consistent with the purpose of creating the class, while with "re-use" the purpose of applying the class may be slightly altered.…”

“…Automatic change detection can simplify programming and design, so producing more reliable systems with less energy. Zeynab (2015) researched and published a comprehensive literature review over relationships among objects and also identified three basic types of relationships, including generalization or specialization, aggregation and association. (Weixin et al, 2021) presented a new statically typed modular programming approach called Compositional Programming.…”
