Properties of the single-particle spectrum generated by the mixed fractional rotation group

Abstract: The deformation related properties of the single-particle spectrum generated by a fractional rotational group with mixed derivative definitions are investigated for ascertaining its suitability as a viable microscopic model. A new parametrization is proposed based on fits on experimental single-particle levels. The performance of the resulted model is judged by calculating the microscopic contribution to the masses and the ground state deformation of even-even nuclei.
