Prophylactic cryoprecipitate transfusion in patients undergoing scoliosis surgery: A randomised-controlled trial

Abstract: Background: Scoliosis surgeries in adults often have a high risk of massive blood loss and significant transfusion of blood products during and after surgery. It is not known whether early cryoprecipitate therapy is useful in reducing blood loss and transfusion requirements.
