Proposal of a simple and rapid method for the chemotherapy preparations analytical control by spectrophotometry UV-Vis method

Abstract: Introduction The preparation of anticancer chemotherapy in a hospital must meet several objectives; the first main is the quality, which can be provided by setting up a surveillance system and a quality control of each preparations. The aim of this work is to present a simple, fast and accurate spectrophotometric method for the routine control of cytotoxic preparations. Materials and methods This is a study carried out in the cytotoxic preparation unit of the university center of Rabat-Sale children’s hospit… Show more

“…Particle size is a crucial parameter that is of very high importance while formulating a nanoemulsion. Initially, the formulation was thinned out, and the particle size was evaluated using the Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) technique at a temperature of 25 • C [25]. Figure 8 demonstrates that the particle size of the optimized formulation was 272.2 nm.…”

“…Dose adjustments may be required to mitigate harm from interactions between these rstline chemotherapeutics. The studied drugs were previously analyzed utilizing various analytical techniques, including HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), [21][22][23][24][25] spectrophotometric, 26,27 spectrouorometric, [28][29][30][31][32][33][34] and electrochemical methods. [35][36][37][38][39] Fluorescent metal nanoclusters are emerging as a new class of nanoscale uorophores.…”

“…In order to guarantee the pharmaceutical and chemical quality of the preparation, several strategies of quality control have been elaborated to make sure that the right drug is delivered at the right concentration [7].High-performance liquid chromatography coupled with UV (HPLC/UV) has been developed for proper drug preparation in chemotherapy and is considered one of the earliest methods used for monitoring such drugs [8][9][10][11]. In addition, other spectroscopic methods, such as UV-visible, near infrared, and Raman [12][13][14][15], have also been applied for the quality control of drug preparation in chemotherapy.…”
