Proposal of the Knowledge Application Environment of Calculating Operational Parameters for Conventional Machining Technology

Abstract: Calculation of the machining parameters is one of the basic routine operations carried out before initializing the work and technological operations on a machine tool. Basis for calculating these parameters is obtained from the technical documentation in the form of rules, tables, catalogues and company literature. It can be concluded that this is a routine activity which represents a significant proportion of the activities performed before actual production of the product. It is exactly the routine activitie… Show more

“…For this system were specified some basic requirements:  it has to be able to do from several viewing angles,  it hasn´t to restrict new products at their put on the manufacturing process. Therefore, the system was built for possibility of combination on the basis of the following technological approaches: [14][15][16]  Individual technology (IT),  Type technology (TT),  Group technology (GT).…”

“…The last reference frame (0xyz) n is located at the tool point E. For an n-axis robot there is a vector of n robot variables ξ = (ξ l ... ξ n ) T , a particular choice of which yields the object position and orientation designated by w = (x y z α βγ) T , where α, β and γ may be taken to be Eulerian angles for a reference frame with origin at (x, y, z) and embedded in the body. Formally, then, we may view the robot as a mapping [5,6,7] f( . ): n → 6…”

“…Once a crane is installed and too little clearance exists between the bridge and the ceiling, a metal fabricator doesn't have much choice but to raise the roof if it wants that crane to be modified to pick up larger loads than it was originally designed for. [8,9] Gantry crane specified for usage in manufacturing process was designed by authors and made from plastics according to standardized norms of European model trains NEM (Normen Europäischer Modellbahnen) in reduced scale 1:87. It is shown in Figure 4.…”
