A research was developed in order to reduce production costs; through quality management system tools in Induamerica SL company; for which diagnostic tools were used such as: the Ishikawa diagram, Pareto analysis, histograms, control charts, process capacity and purposeful tools, which were: the quality function deployment (QFD), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and DMAIC -Six Sigma. Besides, a total annual economic loss of S/29,194.60 was obtained and four main causes were identified: lack of operator training, maintenance, standardization and control of indicators. In addition, after the proposal was implemented, it was improved in Z: 17%, 24%, 28% and 40% respectively; as a result, a global benefit of S/ 9,239.00 was achieved, with a NPV of S/. 5,937.57 and an IRR of 51%; therefore, the feasibility of the proposal was demonstrated. All this, because statistical control tools and the implementation of a right quality management system significantly reduce production costs and increase profitability in companies.
