Prospective evaluation of anesthetic protocols during pediatric ophthalmic surgery

Abstract: Purpose: To date, no protocol of anesthesia for pediatric ophthalmic surgery is unanimously recognized. The primary anesthetic risks are associated with strabismus surgery, including oculocardiac reflex, postoperative nausea and vomiting, and postoperative pain.
