Abstract:Objective: The objective was to study the antibiotic-prescribing patterns, identify the medication errors and impact of surgical antimicrobial prophylaxis (SAP) in preventing surgical site infection (SSI), and to understand the prescribers’ adherence to surgical prophylaxis guidelines.
