“…The staging of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) differs significantly from that of other malignancies, as the underlying liver disease, apart from the biology of the tumor itself, may significantly affect patient prognosis (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6)(7)(8)(9)(10)(11)(12)(13)(14)(15).
