Abstract:Laser technologies for processing metals used as heat exchange surfaces are unrivaled to solve a number of problems in the energy industry. This is explained by the fact that after laser radiation treatment, metal surfaces gain unique surface functional properties (extreme wettability properties, high resistance to corrosion in contact with traditional coolants, high abrasive and cavitation resistance). The study of the processes of evaporation, boiling, and condensation on such surfaces is hampered by one of … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
