It was found that anisotropic Mannich salts ( 1 ), UV curable substituted vinylketones ( 2 ), various of cyclohexene, phenylcyclohexane, biphenyl, terphenyl, or quaterphenyl derivatives, the LC compounds with negative dielectric anisotropy ( 3‐6 ), which form, as rule, nematic phase at low temperature and in a wide temperature range and are characterized a high value of negative dielectric anisotropy (Δε = −5‐7), can be successfully prepared using this approach.…”
