“…From the amount of carbon content in the layers, we could conclude that when using two-steps procedure the adsorbed BTAH or 2-MBI, which were adsorbed on the surface of Cu in the first step, hindered the adsorption of SA and so consequently the amount of carbon in the two-steps layers was lower. This is also in good agreement with results from our previous study [45] where SEM images of layers prepared with two-steps procedure clearly show the first layer of BTAH adsorbed on the Cu surface and the upper layer of SA.
