“…LDH activity in the BALF, an indicator of cellular damage and death, increased following respiratory infection (Ward, Till, Hatherill, Annesley, & Kunkel, 1985). It was reported previously that LDH is elevated in the lung following LPS challenge (Ammar et al, 2013;Shaaban et al, 2018).
