“…Previous studies have demonstrated that bee bread possesses hepatoprotective properties as shown by decreases in the severity of liver damage in alcoholic fatty liver disease patients [ 38 ], and in aluminum [ 39 ] and carbon tetrachloride (CCl 4 )-induced liver injury [ 40 ] in rats.
