Abstract:Background and Aim:
Cisplatin (cis-diamminedichloroplatinum [II]; CDDP) is the most widely used drug in
cancer chemotherapy. The nephrotoxicity of CDDP is one of its major side effects. Vorinostat (VST) has been reported to
have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects in both in-vitro and in vivo models. The present study aimed to explore the
