“…Recently, we have shown that EM from freshwater healthy fish, inhibited the climatic condition of Pakistan, has bactericidal role against bacteria (Ali et al, 2023). The EM of bacterial-challenged fish showed interesting activity against fish as well as human bacterial pathogens (Mohd et al, 2020;Subramanian et al, 2007); hence, we report the bactericidal role of EM from five freshwater Cyprinid fish after treatment with A. hydrophila. This study may provide useful understanding of skin mucus role in innate immunity and their interaction with bacteria (Blanc et al, 2022;Cho et al, 2022), which could help in the development of bactericidal agents for therapeutic applications.…”
