Abstract: La Proteína C Reactiva (PCR) es una de las proteínas plasmáticas que aparecen en la fase aguda de la inflamación. La periodontitis se relaciona con niveles elevados de PCR en adultos y con una reducción de la misma después de su tratamiento.
