Abstract: Polyolefins derived from plastic wastes are recalcitrant for biological upcycling. However, chemical depolymerization of polyolefins can generate depolymerized plastic (DP) oil, comprising of a complex mixture of saturated, unsaturated, even, and odd hydrocarbons suitable for biological conversion.
