O presente artigo busca entender como o design participativo se relaciona com questões de gênero e poder em comunidades artesãs. Reuniu-se, assim, um conjunto de dados teóricos acerca de colaborações entre designers e comunidades de artesãs. Para isso, recorreu-se ao método de Revisão Sistemática de Literatura (BRIZOLA e FANTIN, 2016), caracterizado por garantir um mapeamento com ampla possibilidade de detecção de experiências registradas em trabalhos científicos sobre o tema em questão. O resultado consiste em um mapeamento organizado de dados acerca de vivências de designers que se permitiram experimentar processos participativos, justos e equânimes no âmbito da pesquisa com artesãs, trazendo vinte trabalhos identificados para este debate.Palavras-chave: design participativo; gênero; artesanato. This article seeks to understand how participatory design relates to issues of gender and power in artisan communities. Thus, a set of theoretical data was gathered about collaborations between designers and artisan communities. To carry out this task, the Systematic LiteratureReview research method was used (BRIZOLA and FANTIN, 2016), characterized by ensuring a mapping with ample possibility of detecting experiences recorded in scientific works on the subject in question. The result is an organized mapping of data about the experiences of designers who allowed themselves to experience participatory, fair and equitable processes within the scope of research with artisans, bringing twenty identified works to this debate.
