“…While for other types of MO leaves contain either essential or non-essential AAs within the value range reported by many investigators (Zaku, Emmanuel, Tukur, & Kabir, 2015;Mbailao, Mianpereum, & Albert, 2014;Nouman et al, 2014).…”

“…In contrast, the crude fiber (CF) content was relatively similar among them. From the survey of literature, the CP content of MO leaves varies between 18.4 and 39.1 % (Ogbe & Affiku, 2011;Agbogidi & Ilondu, 2012;Madukwe, Ugwuoke, & Ezeugwu, 2013;Offor, Ehiri, & Njoku, 2014;Moyo, Masika, Hugo, & Muchenje, 2011;Mbailao, Mianpereum, & Albert, 2014;Melesse, 2011;Sodamade, Bolaji, & Adeboye, 2013). While for CF content the corresponding figures are 5.43 to 11.2 (Mbailao, Mianpereum, & Albert, 2014;Melesse, 2011;Ogbe & Affiku, 2011;El-Sohaimy, Hamad, Mohamed, Amar, & Al-Hindi, 2015;Sodamade, Bolaji, & Adeboye, 2013).…”

“…For macro-nutrients, Ca (1.711% for M. ovalifolia and 1.206% for M. oleifera) was higher while P, K, Mg and Na were all < 1% for both species. An elemental composition of M. oleifera leaves from Chad reported by Mbailao et al (2014) found similar values to the current study of Na (0.08%), K (1.73%), Ca (1.23%), Mg (0.39%), P (0.32%), Fe (97.12 ppm), Mn (29.33 ppm), Zn (19.14 ppm) and Cu (9.07 ppm), except for Fe and Cu which were much lower compared to the current findings (see Table 1). However, Mn was higher than what was found in that previous work.…”

“…The plant leaf extract have high sulphur content which probably serve as hapten to induce FDE [9,10]. The clinical diagnosis of fixed drug eruption is made by taking a careful history to elicit the fact that a drug, over-the-counter medications has been taken and when a characteristic adverse cutaneous drug reaction appear at the same site(s) upon repeated exposure to the offending agent.…”
