Abstract:Pruritic folliculitis (PF) is one of the specific dermatoses of pregnancy the aetiology of which remains unknown. Several theories have been proposed, and the most commonly accepted is that it represents a hormonally induced acne, as seen in patients taking progestogenic steroids.
