Abstract:Introduction
Pheochromocytomas (PCCs) are rare neuroendocrine tumors that secrete catecholamines. They may be associated with familial syndromes such as Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN 2), von Hippel-Lindau disease (VHL), and Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF 1). PCCs are a common cause of malignant hypertension in pregnancy and can lead to adverse maternal and fetal outcomes if left undiagnosed or untreated.
