Abstract: Background Agranulocytosis, defined as absolute neutrophil count (ANC) < 500/µL due to antithyroid drugs (ATDs), methimazole, carbimazole, and propylthiouracil (PTU), is a rare but serious complication with an occurrence of 0.1- 0.5%.
