Abstract:The density of states and the conductivity tensor of a quantum-wire array with disorder in the period, direction, and height of the corrugation are calculated in magnetic fields within a self-consistent Born approximation. A diffuse Bragg scattering causes pseudo-Landau-levels associated with the second band and pseudo-open-orbits in the gap region of a corresponding system without disorder.
