Abstract:Pseudomyxoma peritonei is a rare pathological condition characterized by mucinous tumor tissue implants on the peritoneal surface. Although the cause of Pseudomyxoma peritonei has been extensively studied, the prevailing agreement is that it stems from mucinous tumors that occur in the ovaries or appendix.
