The present study aims to identify the relationship between workplace spirituality, compassion, relationship with others at work, spiritual orientation, organizational value and alignment of personal values, and psychological well-being among universities’ teachers. Further, the mediating effect of job stress was also identified between workplace spirituality and psychological well-being. Similarly, the mediation of environmental mastery between organizational values and alignment of personal values and psychological well-being was examined. Finally, we examined the mediation of personal growth between spiritual orientation and psychological well-being. The data were collected through a structured and adapted five-point Likert scale using a purposive sampling technique, with a total sample of 873 male and female university teachers working in the private and government universities. We employed structural equation modeling to check the relationship among the considered variables for analysis purposes. The results show a strong positive relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The findings further demonstrated that the mediation analysis confirms that job stress mediates the relationship between workplace spirituality and psychological well-being, and environmental mastery mediates between organizational values and alignment of personal values and psychological well-being. Finally, personal growth mediates between spiritual orientation and psychological well-being. To maintain the excellent quality of education, educational institutes need to identify and imply the practice of workplace spirituality that will help to reduce job stress and improve the psychological well-being of universities’ teachers, thus resulting in better educational output.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, sosyal medyada Gelişmeleri Kaçırma Korkusunun (GKK) personel güçlendirme ve iş tatmini arasındaki ilişki üzerinde düzenleyici etkisinin bulunup bulunmadığınınincelenmesidir.Purpose: The purpose of this research is to examine whether the Fear of Missing Out on Social Media (FoMO) has a moderator effect on the relationship between personnel empowerment and job satisfaction. Tasarım/Yöntem: Araştırmada tesadüfî olmayan yöntemlerden kolayda örneklem yöntemiyle belirlenen 749 katılımcıya Google form aracılığıyla anket yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS ve SPSS Process Macro ile analiz edilmiştir.Design/Methodology: In the research, 749 participants, who were determined by the convenience sampling method, which is one of the non-random methods, were surveyed via Google form. The data obtained were analyzed with the SPSS and SPSS Process Macro. Bulgular: Analizler sonucunda; GKK'nin personel güçlendirme ve iş tatmini arasındaki ilişkide düzenleyici rolünün anlamlı olduğu ve ilişkinin yönünü değiştirdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.Findings: As a result of the analysis; It was concluded that the moderator role of GKK in the relationship between personnel empowerment and job satisfaction was significant and changed the direction of the relationship. Sınırlılıklar: Çalışma sosyal medyadaki gelişmeleri kaçırma korkusu ile sınırlı olup, sosyal medyadaki gelişmeleri kaçırma korkusu dışındaki diğer sosyal medya ile ilgili kavramlar kapsam dışı bırakılmıştır. Personel güçlendirmenin psikolojik güçlendirme boyutunu kapsamakta olup, yapısal güçlendirme boyutu kapsam dışı bırakılmıştır. Limitations:The study is limited to FoMO the developments in the social media, and other social media-related concepts are excluded, except for the fear of missing the developments in the social media. Personnel empowerment includes the psychological empowerment dimension, and the structural empowerment dimension is excluded.Özgünlük/Değer: Sosyal medyada GKK'nin personeli güçlendirme ile iş tatmini arasındaki ilişkide düzenleyicilik rolünü belirlemeye yönelik yapılan bir çalışmaya daha önce rastlanılamaması nedeniyle, işletme alan yazınındaki boşluğun doldurulması ve işletme alan yazınına katkıda bulunması araştırmanın özgün değerini oluşturmaktadır.Originality/Value: Filling the gap in the business literature and contributing to the business literature constitute the original value of the research, since there has not been a study to determine the regulatory role of GKK in the relationship between employee empowerment and job satisfaction in social media.

The Influence of Customer Incivility and Coworker Incivility on Job Satisfaction with The Mediation of Emotional Exhaustion

This study aims to determine the influence of customer incivility (X1) and coworker incivility (X2) on job satisfaction (Y) with emotional exhaustion as a mediating variable (Y) among frontline employees at The Royale Krakatau Hotel Cilegon with 50 respondents. This research used a quantitative approach with a census sampling method and analyzed the data using Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The results showed that there was a significant influence of customer incivility on job satisfaction, coworker incivility had a significant relationship with job satisfaction. Moreover, the results also showed that emotional exhaustion had a significant influence on job satisfaction. Additionally, the results indicated that emotional exhaustion significantly mediated the relationship between customer incivility and job satisfaction. Furthermore, the results showed that emotional exhaustion significantly mediated the relationship between coworker incivility and job satisfaction.
