Abstract:Purpose
Psittacosis is an often-neglected cause of community acquired pneumonia (CAP). The limited diagnostic methods for psittacosis pneumonia invariably result in an unfavourable prognosis. Consequently, the early detection of psittacosis pneumonia is crucial.
