Psychiatric Epidemiology in Canada

Abstract

I n 1990, The Canadian Journal of Psychiatry published a symposium of 7 papers under the title "Psychiatric Epidemiology in Canada." The editorial by Nick Kates and Heather Munroe-Blum (1) highlighted the pioneering contributions of Canadian psychiatry to the national and international development of psychiatric epidemiology as a rich and vital basic science of psychiatry.
