Psychiatry, subjectivity and emotion – deepening the medical model

Abstract: Morale among psychiatrists continues to be seriously challenged in the face of recruitment difficulties, unfilled posts, diagnostic controversies, service reconfigurations and public criticism of psychiatric care, in addition to other difficulties. “…Subjektivnost i intersubjektivnost predstavljaju sastavni dio psihijatrijskog ispitivanja i klasifikacije te kao jedan važan aspekt realnosti psihičkog funkcionisanja ne bi smeli biti zanemarivani. Predlozi počivaju na potrebi integracije kvalitativnih elemenata u kvantifikacioni pristup psihičkim poremećajima [20].
