“…Crucial to defending the claims we make about the effects of unequal pay is the Just World Fallacy. Previous research that has attempted to apply the Just World Fallacy to various ethical and political issues has focused on the obstacles it presents to egalitarianism in the form of psychological resistance (Kasperbauer 2015), whether or not a belief in a just world should be encouraged by parents and teachers (Kristjánsson 2004), and whether business organizations can constitute Aristotelian communities (Sinnicks 2020).
