The article is devoted to the study of the value-semantic sphere of the personality of students who are prone to the use of psychoactive substances. The importance of timely organization of corrective work to overcome addictive behavior is noted. The article examines the factors determining the occurrence of dependent behavior, the classification of motives for the formation of dependent forms of personality behavior in college age. Theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the emergence of addictive forms of personality behavior are considered. The empirical part of the study describes the structure, methods and results of the study of the student's personality attitude to psychoactive substances. The relationship between value-semantic characteristics and attitude to psychoactive substances has been established.
