“…The QLICP-LU has several advantages over the Chinese versions of FACT-L and QLQ-LC43 although they have similar psychological properties [8,9]. First, it consists of a moderate number of variables with a clear hierarchical structure that can present mean scores computed not only at the domain levels but also at the different facet levels.…”

“…Eighty-four patients completed both the QLICP-LU and FACT-L and 82 patients completed both the QLICP-LU and QLQ-LC43 questionnaires, constituting the sample for the validation analysis of criterion-related validity. Correlation coefficients of scores among the domains of the QLICP-LU and FACT-L can be seen from a related article [8] and the ones among the domains of the QLICP-LU and multi-items subscales of QLQ-LC43 were presented in Table 4, with both showing that the correlations between the same and similar domains are generally higher than those between different and non-similar domains. For example, the coefficient between the psychological domain of QLICP-LU and emotional functioning of QLQ-LC43 was 0.67, higher than any other coefficients in this column, e.g., physical functioning (0.20), role functioning (0.24).…”
