Abstract:Conceptualization and measurement of well-being have been carried out from different positions in positive psychology. In this cross-sectional study, the Scale of Positive and Negative Experiences (SPANE) has been adapted and validated on a sample of 458 Ukrainian adults. Confirmatory factor analysis has confirmed a two-factor model in which the positive affect (SPANE-P) and negative affect (SPANE-N) subscales were correlated (r = -0.594).
