Psychomotor and Scientific Attitude Assessment to Simple Plane Materials through Application of Direct Instruction Learning Model

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the psychomotor learning outcomes and scientific attitudes of students. This type of research is pre-experimental in the form of one shoot case study. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive analysis by assessing the psychomotor and scientific attitudes of students. The result of this research is that the students' psychomotor absorption ability is classified as good (80.67%). The effectiveness of learning is classified as effective (80.67%). Learning outcomes… Show more

“…Furthermore, the increase in students' science process skills is due to the teaching materials that integrate Jayapura's ethnoscience produced having the advantage that the teaching materials developed integrate ethnoscience potential that exists in society so that students are very interested and easy to understand because they fit the context of their daily lives (Haleem et al, 2022). The integration of ethnoscience in the development of Physics teaching materials makes learning appropriate to everyday life and the real world (Azhar, 2022;Nurcahyani et al, 2021;Sudarmin et al, 2023) making learning meaningful because it fits the socio-cultural context of the Enggros and Tobati tribal communities in Jayapura.…”

“…In the context of science education, the process of learning closely resembles the experience of directly engaging with the natural environment and comprehending it through scientific methods (Rubiana & Dadi, 2020). Science is an academic discipline that investigates the natural occurrences and events occurring in the world (Azhar, 2022). Science education plays a crucial role in learning as it directly pertains to the systematic exploration of nature.…”

“…Psychomotor skills can be taught and trained in educational institutions to provide skills for students ready to work (Harimurti et al, 2018). Implementation of psychomotor skills in learning simple plane materials that have set the target of completeness can be achieved by students effectively (Azhar, 2022).…”
