Public Sector Systems

Abstract: A discussion of the nature of public systems and their management. Examples of public systems and the services they provide show how complicated and complex they can be, and the challenges analysts have in providing information useful to those responsible for providing and managing them. Case studies involving modeling to improve system performance are briefly described as are the lessons learned from them.
