Publication patterns in the early years: Dispute resolution in the psychological abstracts, 1980–1985

Abstract: The Psychological Abstracts for a six‐year period, 1980‐1985, were reviewed as a way to measure the growth of psychological interest in mediation. Two hundred and thirty dispute‐resolution abstracts were categorized and analyzed. There was 1 abstract in 1980, 37 in 1983, and 110 in 1985.
