Abstract:Liver cirrhosis has a higher incidence rate and mortality when complicated with bacterial infections. Concomitant bacterial infections, especially bacterial pneumonia, increase the susceptibility of cirrhotic patients to decompensation, with a higher likelihood of mortality.
