Pyelonephritis Caused by Salmonella Anatum: An Unusual Case

Abstract: Salmonella species are a very rare cause of urinary tract infection in healthy children. This species is associated with a high incidence of genitourinary abnormalities and immune deficiencies. We report the first pediatric case of a healthy 9-year-old girl with pyelonephritis due to Salmonella Anatum.
