Pyrene Derivatives Containing Triphenylacrylonitrile as Aggregation Induced Emissive Mechanochromic Materials

Abstract: Organic materials possessing multiple functional properties such as aggregation induced emission, mechanochromism and acidochromism are rare. In this paper we demonstrate the design of polyfunctional materials using the aggregation quenching chromophore, pyrene.
