“…Further, to confirm the coordination nature of AOX with Fe 2 + ion, theoretical studies (DFT) were done by B3LYP level of theory which revealed the neutral tetradendate (N 2 O 2 ) coordination of AOX with Fe 2 + ion having the energy of 1.9 eV, which has more stabilisation than ONN tridentate coordination fashion of AOX with the energy of 2.1 eV.
