Abstract:Background
Infraocclusion of deciduous teeth is a frequent dental anomaly caused by ankylosis accompanied by local growth disturbance. During puberal growth spurt an increasing progression of infraocclusion is detected. The clinical classification of ankylosed deciduous teeth varies considerably among scientific studies.
