This chapter discusses the dissertation's qualitative methodology selection criteria. To understand complex human and social events, qualitative research emphasizes participants' views to generate rich, detailed insights. This chapter discusses ethnography, phenomenology, grounded theory, and narrative analysis, each suitable for different study contexts.
