“…The findings from this study highlight the profound need for comprehensive support systems for nurses, targeted interventions to manage emotional distress, training modules to enhance communication, and an emphasis on mindfulness. Simultaneously, the study illuminates the inherent resilience, empathy, and commitment that exist in the field of pediatric oncology (Drury et al, 2023; Jeong et al, 2023; Johnston & Dowling, 2023). As a result of this study, further research into this area could offer a more in‐depth understanding and potentially lead to the development of better support structures and training programs, thereby improving pediatric oncology nursing care during the end‐of‐life stage.…”

“…A qualitative research design utilizing the photovoice method was employed in this study to examine the experiences and needs of pediatric oncology nurses in their communication processes with children and families in the end‐of‐life period. The purpose of photovoice methodology in our study was to go beyond traditional qualitative methods, allowing pediatric oncology nurses to convey their experiences in a more nuanced and holistic manner (Bennett et al, 2023; Johnston & Dowling, 2023). Also, the study adhered to the Consolidated Criteria for Reporting Qualitative Research (COREQ) checklist for reporting purposes (COREQ, 2023).…”
