Purpose The main objective of this study is to present a conceptual model of sustainable product service supply chain (SPSSC) performance assessment in the oil and gas industry. Design/methodology/approach Based on an in-depth study of the previous literature, the indicators related to PSSC performance assessment were determined. Then, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were applied to identify and confirm the sub-criteria and criteria pertaining to the proposed model. Findings The obtained results identify ten criteria related to the proposed model as follows: “Environmental performance”, “Customer performance”, “financial performance”, “Information technology Performance”, “Social Performance”, “Risk performance”, “Logistics performance”, “Operational performance”, “Organizational performance” and “performance of innovation and growth”. Research limitations/implications As the present research was conducted in the Iranian context, caution should be taken regarding the generalizability of the obtained results. Originality/value Based on a set of the identified criteria, this study proposes a conceptual model of the PSSC performance assessment in the oil and gas industry which hopefully could be useful for other organizations in this industry and other organizations in other parts of the world.

This research work seeks to propose the application of the QFD quality management tool in strawberry cultivation processes in the Huaura area. In the first instance, a review of the literature corresponding to the tool applied to agriculture is carried out, with which the quality control model for the strawberry production process is based. The hypothesis was established that the application of this quality control model will achieve the standardization of strawberry crops so that quality standards that allow export are achieved. A pilot implementation plan is proposed to corroborate the veracity of this hypothesis, selecting a particular type of strawberry, two farmers in the area and an implementation horizon of 8 months. It is expected to find the viability of this model to improve the quality of the strawberries of Huaura and the replicability of it to spread it in the region

Management of supply chain (SC) is becoming more challenging with every passing day due to high competition, globalisation, and digitalisation because of the recent adoption of internet of things (IoT) technologies in order to increase supply chain visibility. Due to this fact, importance of supply chain performance measurement systems (SCPMS) has been increased significantly. To cope with these challenges and remain competitive, organisations are keen to evaluate SC performance more precisely. Therefore, this paper adopts a qualitative review methodology to find out if existing SCPMS are in line with the current emerging technology trends of managing SC and measuring SC performance and if not, what will be the characteristics of future SCPMS. Results show particularly that existing SCPMSs are not adequate to cope with the complexity and the technology advancement observed in supply chain management as a smart way for measuring modern SC performance is needed. Finally, this study proposes a conceptual supply chain performance measurement (SCPM) framework to fill the identified research gaps.
