[3][4][5][6] The extensive rehabilitation and long-term maintenance needs of this population are complex and involve a diverse set of health care providers, including head and neck surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, nurses, dentists and prosthodontists, physical rehabilitation specialists, speech and swallowing experts, nutritionists, pathologists, and adjunctive services, such as addiction services and psychiatry.
