Quality of life of the mechanically ventilated patients with community-acquired pneumonia

Abstract: Background/Aim. Patients with pneumonia who require mechanical ventilation (MV) are associated with several poor outcomes such as prolonged hospitalization, higher rate of mortality and increased spread of antibioticsresistant pathogens.
