Quality screening in an information technology process

Abstract: Purpose -The purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology that may aid in assessing information technology (IT) quality characteristic optimisation through the use of simple and robust tools with minimal effort. Design/methodology/approach -Non-linear saturated fractional factorial designs proposed by Taguchi receive robust data processing by the efficient nonparametric test of Jonckheere and Terpstra. Findings -The paper finds that e-mail quality improvement is achieved by collecting data through an unre… Show more

“…The reasons for the success or failure of DBC is critical to understand because the financial goal is linked to disaster recovery operations, which needs immediate attention. To avoid service failure of a donation-based crowdfunding platform, we explore the principles of quality management (van Kemenade and Hardjono, 2019; Besseris, 2010) to understand its role in comprehending and improving operational performance in the case of a DBC platform. The cash flow on DBC platforms also source data of donors in the form of their credentials, their donation pattern and the cause of donation.…”

“…Addressing the multi-response multi-factorial profiling case has been dealt with recently using nonparametrics which includes the additional option to prioritize the profiled traits for a group of unreplicated responses (Besseris, 2009c). A pure order-statistics single-response methodology has been proposed for a non-linear unreplicated-saturated OA scheme assorted with an illustrative application drawn from the area of improving the quality performance of an information technology system (Besseris, 2010a).…”
