Quantifying and predicting chromatic thresholds

Abstract: Perceptual thresholds measured in the two-dimensional chromatic diagram are elliptical in shape. Across different parts of the chromatic diagram, these ellipses vary in their sizes, their tilting angles, and in how much they elongate.
