Quantifying fish avoidance of small acoustic survey vessels in boreal lakes and reservoirs

Abstract: Mobile hydroacoustic surveys are increasingly used to assess the distribution and abundance of freshwater fish; yet, fish may avoid moving vessels, potentially introducing bias in these assessments.
