Abstract:We propose quantitative analysis of chemical and phase composition of Zn−Ni alloy depending on the film thickness, using potentiodynamic stripping in an alkaline ammonia‐glycinate electrolyte. The mechanism of dissolution of zinc‐enriched Zn−Ni alloy films in this electrolyte comprises sequential stages of dissolution of zinc‐phase and zinc from a γ‐phase of various structures, followed by dissolution of the nickel‐enriched residue, formed by dezincification, and matrix nickel.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
